We are a Tax exempt organisation and have a exemption certificate, how do we get the tax removed/refunded from our order?
All of our payments are now handled by our reseller and Merchant of Sale, Paddle. You will need to contact them in order to have the tax removed/refunded if your order has already been placed.
Paddle have now implemented a change whereby you can enter your VAT Number alongside your company details into the invoice/receipt after the order has been placed and they will process your VAT refund a few days later (Where applicable). If you are a US Company that is tax exempt you will need to provide Paddle with your Tax exemption documents and they will refund your tax back to you.
If you have not yet placed your order, you can enter in your Tax/VAT code during the checkout, using the "Add VAT Number" link above the payment options. You will also be able to enter in your company details at this stage too. This will then remove the VAT from your order automatically (the onscreen cart should update to reflect this).
Otherwise Paddle will refund the tax amount after the order has completed, once all of the required tax exemption documents have been received by them.
